Continuing my reviews of 50ml sampler bottles. Drank it straight. Koenig produces genuinely interesting and good liqueurs, but this one is simply vodka. The aroma is plain and a bit off, a hint of alcohol funk... perhaps (yikes!) like old gym shoes or decaying feet? On the palate, the vodka is prominent, with minerality, a smooth texture, and a very subtle berry and floral taste, leaning towards natural rather than artificial. The finish is mildly sweet and pure. The flavor isn't terrible—I'd choose this over other flavored vodkas that have artificial chemical undertones. This tastes more genuine, but... that strange smell is quite challenging to overlook. And it's still just a vodka.
