It's absolutely delightful to revisit and very inviting to sample. The palate has a somewhat chewy texture, filling the mouth thoroughly, with rye spice, dark chocolate, fresh fruit, vanilla, and a touch of brown sugar. It is wonderfully balanced and represents what a truly good rye should taste like. It isn't overly complex; the notes detected on the nose translate very well to the palate. The fantastic combination of floral and fruity notes truly makes this one stand out. The finish is long and somewhat spicy, with the rye maintaining its chewiness, while fresh notes of dried flowers and citrus combine to linger in the mouth for a truly wonderful experience.
