Warehouse W-L Floor 5 Rick 031 Distilled 10/14/04, chosen by Breaking Bourbon 11/29/2018 The aroma is reminiscent of dark rum, very sweet with tropical fruit notes. Deep maple syrup color. Some initial burn on the tongue, but it fades nicely to reveal caramel, black pepper, molasses, and baking spices. The long finish warms the mouth with clove spice.

The 120 proof is certainly noticeable. However, once you get past the initial intensity, you find the usual vanilla, some baked apple, and a whisper of caramel. A classic bourbon. Fantastic value considering the proof and flavor. I like this better than McKenna 10 at more than half the price.
Allowing it to breathe reveals a full-bodied aroma. Notes of caramel. A slow, deep, warming finish.
My store's selection was quite delicious. Especially considering the $40 price point
