Reminds me of butterscotch candy, but with a subtle Irish character.

About this bottle
This exceptionally rare Irish whiskey was produced at the Old Tullamore Distillery in 1951, prior to its closure in 1954. This pure pot still whiskey, now known as "single pot still," matured for 36 years in sherry butts before its bottling in 1987. Mark Edwin Andrews acquired Knappogue Castle in 1966 and purchased these and similar casks shortly thereafter.
