Kilchoman 10 Year Old Single Cask, Impex Cask Evolution 02/2018

Nose: Smoky iodine, scorched apples, coal Taste: Wow, it hits the palate with a significant sherry influence, some oily mouthfeel, light cherry, iodine, and peat. Sherry, peat, a funky, numbing finish. This is a unique pleasure. I would certainly drink it again. Buy if you encounter it. I do not see Impex on the bottle, but the image is accurate.

A nice blend of peat and cherry. Nose: dried fruit, salty, spicy, sweet chocolate, smoke. Palate: rich, sweet, vanilla, caramel, salty, mild smoke. An excellent pour.
