Valentina Baer 4.5

Oak on the nose, with some sweetness Palate - I can't really compare it to other bourbons I've had so far... there's a medicinal (perhaps cherry) flavor that reminds me of four roses. Then a creamy taste, reminiscent of chocolate, cornbread, and a bit of gummy bear. Finish is long (at least in the throat), reminiscent of sugary dough. Warm dough, And the aroma of Mexican ice cream cones.

Rosalee Schmid 4.8

Smells like caramel. Tastes of caramel and a bit of spice (nutmeg & clove). Adding ice reduces the spice but the caramel remains prominent. It's smoother than expected for its alcohol content. I'm not giving it a perfect score because the initial heat was a little intense. An amazing bourbon, the best I've had so far. Is it worth the price? I believe so.

Jerri Cope 4.8

Potentially among the best I've had. It's rich, oily, spicy, with vanilla and caramel. The flavor coats the tongue and lingers just long enough to make you crave another sip. I was quite impressed with this pour. Cost $40 for a pour in Waco, TX.

Kerri Lassiter 5.0

A beautiful pour. This was my first experience with this distillery. The aroma was incredible. Crème brûlée and chocolate combined with hints of spice and corn. The lingering finish seemed to last for ages. A truly pleasant drink. 95/100

Zander Kirk 4.5

The finest "high rye" bourbon I have ever encountered. Exceptional mouthfeel, well-balanced, with wood, sweetness, fruit, caramel, and some spice in the middle and end of the palate. By far the most seamless high rye mash bill I have tried.

Makenzie Broughton 4.5

Revisiting this over 3 years after my initial tasting. I would have given it 4.4 stars then. It's very dependable, but since my first taste, I've experienced some superior bourbons and needed to adjust my rating.
