I was hesitant due to my disappointment with Confiscated. However, this has met expectations. The only rye I can recall enjoying more was a barrel selection from a specific distillery. I'm not sure I would spend that much regularly, but it is indeed tasty.

The aroma is unexpectedly sugary for a rye, honey first then more leathery. The taste has hints of mint and lemongrass, followed by an explosion of spice and wood on the lingering finish, which is quite pleasant.
Complex. Rye spice, pepper, toffee, vanilla. Medium-full body. Pleasant and I enjoy it. A New Year purchase; pricey and I don't think I'd buy another.
A pleasant taste with a gradual warmth as it goes down. The ending is also satisfying.
Cherry, stone fruit, and baking spice. It feels very smooth on the palate.
More mellow than Batch 3, but with a less pronounced caramel note.
