Sweet on the nose but spicy on the palate. The initial spice mellows out. It's drinkable neat, but better suited for mixing. A teaspoon of water significantly enhances it.
I've bought this 1.75L bottle a few times now, and considering the price, it's one of the top daily sippers for bourbon. The balance of spice and flavor is just right. Cheers!
