A refined, blended Japanese Whisky from Shinzato Distillery in Okinawa, Japan. Composed of malt and wheat whisky aged at least 3 years, along with rice whisky aged in Sherry casks for over 8 years, bottled at 43% ABV. Its aromatic beginning features citrus, tropical fruits, grain, and spices. A complex and balanced middle develops notes of malt, pineapple, and sweet cream, leading to a long, rich conclusion with hints of nectar and ginger. April / August 2022

I found this one appealing from the outset. It possesses a pleasant honey sweetness, but instead of a bright sweetness, it presents more like a dark, herbal honey, with chocolate notes in the finish.
Smells of citrus and alcohol. Tastes of apple, pie spices, and ethanol. It tastes young. I do think it tastes better than it smells and is improved by a few drops of water. It’s decent for its price.
Bright, subtly smoky, with hints of sake and a sake-like sweetness combined with the caramel notes of a warm scotch. A good alternative if you seek something beyond the ordinary.
This Blend lacks depth. I am consistently disappointed by these inexpensive Japanese products.
Very easy to drink, perhaps a bit neutral or light in flavor, with honey and citrus notes.
