A touch of peat upfront gives way to butterscotch aromatically. Quite curious. The palate is creamy with smoke lingering on the rear of the tongue, and a hint of maple syrup concludes the experience. All in all, a truly peculiar and delightful pour for a change of pace.
The Mixunara Oak Finish offers a taste I haven't encountered before. An excellent low proof whiskey.
