The nose presents chocolate, toffee, leather, and banana, with a subtle hint of peat, which is unusual for a Yamazaki. On the palate, cocoa, spice, and leather dominate initially, followed by hints of dark fruit and a mild peat smoke. A peppery spice and vanilla emerge, fading into caramel, rich hot chocolate, and earthy notes.
