I'm unsure of the exact flavors I'm experiencing in this glass. My palate isn't finely tuned yet, but a certain element is very prominent in this bourbon's taste, and I really like it! Excellent for sipping straight.
The worst bourbon I've had. Its peculiar flavor is hard to pin down, but it reminds me of Famous Grouse, which is still better than this. Avoid it.
Strong drink but not very flavorful. Think must be young spirit. Lots of rye added to cover flaws IMO as very spicy for a bourbon
Aroma: Caramel, light oak, dark honey, vanilla pods. Palate: Peppery spice, chocolate. Finish: Demerara sugar, heavy oak.
It's not the worst bourbon I've encountered, but it's best suited for mixing. Tastes young, perhaps with a high rye content..?
