Nose: Malt extract, toffee, cereal bar, brown sugar. The aroma from the empty glass is intensely toffee-scented and nothing else. Taste: A sweet, malty start with burnt sugar and treacle tart notes. The rum cask influence is evident, imparting a distinct sweet caramel toffee flavor. A subtle cinnamon spice appears later in the palate. Finish: Medium to short. Sweet malt, brown sugar. This is an average malt, entirely without fault. It's mild and easy to drink but somewhat uninspired. There are hints of stewed tropical fruit, but they are muted, and the profile is so dominated by toffee and brown sugar that the result is rather one-dimensional. I'm rating it as good for an average product. Tasted at Jura Distillery, and again from a 30ml sample, April 18th 2025 "Average": 79/100 (2.75 stars)

Not very whisky-like but quite orangey, sweet, and pleasant to drink. Will update if it's too cloying after a litre of the stuff!
Smooth and gentle on the tongue, with a light smokiness and a mild character that's easy to enjoy.
Quite mellow. Yet, it has a sharpness in the finish.
A little fruit at the end. Mediocre.
Mild and smooth. Suitable for daily enjoyment.
