This is unusual: a Jura that is better than an Islay. It was among the best moments of the Water of Life Feis Off tasting, surpassing numerous bottlings from the island usually dominant at the Feis. It's incredibly succulent, like enjoying a fresh Seville orange. Tangy, perfectly proportioned, with a pleasant mouthfeel and a touch of richness to finish. Why bother with various wood finishes when Jura offers sherry butts of this caliber?
