This is considerably different from the standard blue label. It's bottled at 46% ABV instead of the usual 40%. The palate is sweeter, possesses greater depth and flavor, and is just as smooth as the regular blue label. Compared to this Year of the Dog edition, the normal blue label seems 'watery'. I strongly recommend this whiskey; it's truly a distinctive and commendable dram, and the attractive artwork is an added bonus!
