The aroma of this is quite distinct. I'd really like to hear others' opinions, but I detect a very musty and vegetal scent…perhaps earthy. I have many bottles and nothing I own smells like this. Not my preferred scents, to be honest, but it's unique so kudos for that and some people might like it. And that aroma carries directly to the taste. All of that earthiness and mustiness hits you with some medicinal undertones. A little spice and a decent finish, but I really struggle to find much I enjoy about this bottle. Maybe you will like it, but I doubt I'll purchase another.

Pleasant overall, but it does leave a persistent dryness in the nose. It’s not bad, and I’m glad I had the chance to try it.
This would be good in an old fashioned or another mixed drink, but it’s not worth sipping straight.
A rye with some pepperiness, becoming smoother and more approachable with water.
Grassy and immature.
