The initial taste is of burnt vanilla, the first sip is smooth with a dry, sharp lingering sensation. The end is actually a letdown. The first sip is fantastic. I'm conflicted about this one. I really wanted to enjoy it, but it's quite underwhelming.
This barrel #225 strikes me initially as just okay. It comes across as underage given its "very old" designation. I'll try it again in about seven days.
