Fortunate to discover this at a small establishment in Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. It's the finest Jefferson's I've experienced to date. The aroma presents oak, nuts, and caramel, with all the flavors harmoniously balanced. This is a well-aged bourbon. I would purchase it without hesitation if it were available!
A quite pleasant, full aroma, with caramel and toffee being most prominent. The taste brought forth cola, prunes, a bit of nuttiness, and a variety of other tastes that appeared and disappeared; sadly, I could not identify them all. The aftertaste lingers, with dark chocolate being the most notable element for me. Excellent!
Excellent. Chestnut? Caramel, vanilla. Smooth finish.
