In this iteration of Jefferson's Ocean, a small batch straight bourbon completed its maturation in a traditional rickhouse before spending several months at sea. The barrels traveled aboard an OCEARCH shark monitoring vessel, crossing the equator four times. The journey commenced in Savannah, Georgia, passed through the Panama Canal, and experienced temperatures in the 70s and 80s. This bottling is at 90 proof.

Highly floral aroma. Robust oak flavor from maturation on a vessel at sea. Impactful initial taste with a lingering peppery sting. The taste does not soften much as it remains.
Too intense for my preference. The barrel influence seems somewhat lacking. Pure heat.
Tastes like salted caramel. Definitely my favorite from the Oceans series.
Hint of Vanilla, Spice, Floral, Slightly salty.
