I'm typically not a fan of cask strength spirits. This one is good, with a lasting flavor, but it's too potent for my preference.

About this bottle
This Jameson release initiates a planned two-volume collection within the brand's Anthology Series. Volume One, titled Remastered, aims to recreate a classic discontinued whiskey. Master Distiller Kevin O’Gorman has reimagined a 15 Year Single Pot Still whiskey, last produced as a limited edition in 2000. This rendition combines three distinct single pot still types aged 15-17 years. The light and medium pot still components matured in first-fill bourbon barrels, while the traditional pot still component was aged in oloroso sherry butts. Bottled at cask strength without chill filtration, it has an ABV of 56.4%, with only 2220 500ml bottles produced. It was launched in April 2022.
