Nose: Very subtle with floral and grassy hints. Taste: Begins sweet, becoming rich and full, then spicy. Finish: A long, persistent spiciness. It works well in an old fashioned. I would rate it half a star higher in a cocktail.

It’s an adequate rye. The Sazerac Rye and Pikesville are more to my liking. Had a peculiar nose / taste / finish. Nose: dill, citrus, caramel, oak Taste: dill, citrus, honey
Quite intricate. Begins with strong chocolate notes, then shifts to cherries. Wonderful texture and a very pleasant, lingering finish.
Excessively sweet cherry, reminiscent of amaretto. Artificial and floral. The aroma alone gave me head pain. Definitely not to my liking.
The sherry overwhelms this pour and disrupts the balance. The rye cannot compete with the sherry.
Smooth. The sherry cask finish imparts a wonderful flavor. An excellent sipping Bourbon.
