Jacob's Pardon Recipe 2 Small Batch

I tasted it neat. The aroma brings to mind liquid milk chocolate, coffee, figs, caramel, and brown sugar. On the palate, it's initially hot, and I don't get much else, unfortunately. It has a somewhat yeasty and wheaty character with a strong alcohol flavor. I'm quite disappointed because I read how delicious this was before purchasing, and I was referring to batch/recipe 1. This batch 2 is just okay. I'll have to revisit it. I truly hope I'm just having an off night.

Robust, rich, and full-bodied with significant sweetness, enhanced by vanilla and a touch of spice. It's 109.8 proof; the initial taste is hot, but the second sip is perfectly balanced.

Quite good. It has a strong ethanol aroma when first opened, but after airing it out, it's one of the finest pours I've experienced.

I introduced a small amount of water. Tasting notes include caramel, some oak, sweetness, and notes of cinnamon and brown sugar.

Tastes of raisin, with a sweet finish, and is easy to drink.

Minimal burn despite the high proof.
