This Tennessee Whiskey is the color of dark caramel, and thin, very oily streaks descend the glass. The aroma is generally sweet, featuring notes of maple and vanilla, melted butter on toast, banana bread, and a faint, unpolished nail polish hint to add interest. The taste has a very thin texture, with hints of barrel or BBQ char, salted peanuts, rye bread, barrel spice, and cherry. The finish is piquant, smoky, and lingers. I'm pleased to have sampled this particular offering from the Jack Daniel’s collection. Given its higher alcohol content compared to Old No. 7, it possesses a bit more spice and impact, which I appreciate. While not an outstanding whiskey, it is good. If you encounter it and have a hankering for some Jack, I recommend going for it! Thanks, Jack! Cheers!

An excellent dram. It's an elevated version of Jack Daniel's. The history behind it is that the White Rabbit Saloon was the first establishment to serve Jack Daniel's whiskey, making it a significant part of its heritage. Presented at 43% ABV with a tawny color. The nose is more complex than JD. Aromas of maple syrup, banana, prunes – reminiscent of breakfast – vanilla, marzipan, and herbal spice. Truly delightful. The palate is bitter with a sour prune flavor and herbal spice. The aftertaste is lovely: a sweet, honeyed stroopwafel finish. Hints of old banana and a slight saltiness are present. A very enjoyable dram, scoring a solid 80 out of 100. Cheers!

One of my preferred expressions from this distiller. It's sweet with honey notes and a touch of spice, not overly dominated by oak. It pairs well with sweetened iced tea and is a pleasant choice for warmer weather.

Dominant notes of butter and vanilla, with a hint of spice on the palate and a smoky finish. This is a pleasant spirit and a fine addition to the Jack Daniels lineup.

Juliet Reyna 4.0

Nose: Banana bread and vanilla Palate: banana, maple syrup and pancakes, vanilla, and oak Finish: a pleasant slow warmth with lingering cocoa and oak flavors

A satisfying drink. It bears no resemblance to the familiar taste of Jack. Bypass the #7 and GJ; opt for this instead. You won't regret it.
