Jack Daniel's Tennessee Travelers Sweet and Oaky

The aroma is certainly sweet, featuring vanilla and buttery caramel, alongside charred oak and a jolt of strong baking spices, highlighting its 107 proof. The spice softens as it airs, really emphasizing a deep sweetness. It also allows the typical banana note to subtly emerge, blending well with the spice. The taste is somewhat dry yet chewy, quickly reaching the sides of the mouth. The spice electrifies the palate with intensity. Still, the vanilla and oak mingle with caramel notes, now appearing slightly toasted. After the initial sip, the spice isn't overwhelming, allowing enjoyment of the sweet oakiness. It truly lives up to its name, but the sweetness is sharp rather than cloying. The finish is medium-long and spicy, yet still chewy, with sweet oak notes lingering while the spice pleasantly tingles the mouth. Astringent banana recedes into the background, nicely complementing the vanilla sweetness. Overall, this is quite different from your average Jack, and despite being a 500ml bottle, it's very much worth the price.
