The rye whiskey's mash bill consists of 70% rye, 18% corn, and 12% malted barley. It underwent charcoal mellowing before aging in new, charred American oak barrels. The bottling proof ranges from 125 to 140. It can be purchased at military duty-free stores starting August 2024, with a suggested retail price of $69.99.

Nose is faint. Just brown sugar is detected. Palate: tastes like liquid peanut brittle. Finish has a dusty quality. Reminiscent of aged whiskey. Overall: this is excellent. It is creamy, with peanut brittle. Many baking spices are present.
The best Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Proof Rye I've encountered so far. It has the typical flavors and oakiness, but with a buttery creaminess and a viscous texture.
