The best Jack Daniel's I've tried yet. I had a serving of this wonderful spirit because a close companion shared it. It exhibits the characteristic Jack Daniel's profile; on the nose, it's wine-like and grapey (prunes), with hints of smoke (charcoal smoke), banana peel, vanilla cream, and an overall scent reminiscent of a mountain forest. On the palate, it's hot and zesty, with a whisper of toffee and banana. It has a full body, very thick, like syrup. The finish is exceptionally long, the longest I've ever encountered in a whisky, full of oak and smoke. It's a truly delightful dram, and I believe it's no longer produced due to its limited edition status, but you should sample it if you get the opportunity.

Brayden Dorn 4.0

The aroma features banana, maple, vanilla, and oak, with a gentle sweetness throughout. The palate is rich and creamy, with banana dominating the mouthfeel, followed by oak and vanilla. The finish is moderate and slightly warming, with diminishing notes of banana and sweet oak. The whiskey is quite straightforward but an excellent choice for sipping and holds up well.

Nose presents banana and sweet caramel. Subtle barrel notes. Flavor is rich and pleasant, echoing the nose. A medium finish leaves a gentle warmth that lingers agreeably. It's enjoyable to drink neat, evolving and improving as it sits in the glass. Adding water isn't advised. Best enjoyed neat at room temperature.

Homer Hudson 3.8

Negative. SO 5685. Smooth and light initially. Mellow, roasted barrel notes.

Excellent choice directly from the source.
