This is a 100 proof (50% ABV) Jack Daniel's, offering enhanced potency and flavor. The aroma is very sweet, with thick maple syrup, maraschino cherries, burnt caramel, hazelnut, cocoa, and meringue. After the initial taste, notes of banana peel, cinnamon, and vanilla emerge. The palate begins fruity, followed by a pepper explosion, with overwhelming banana, vanilla, oak, wasabi, and pepper. It's very spicy. The aftertaste is well-executed and pleasant, with chili, sawdust, and a very dry, agreeable spiciness. Overall, this is a nice drink, but very straightforward and lacking complexity, which is disappointing given the higher alcohol content. Nevertheless, it was a good experience. My rating is a solid 80 out of 100.

Served neat: The aroma has alcohol and hints of vanilla and banana flavorings; the taste is strong, with abundant barrel tannins and charcoal; it burns but leaves a lasting finish....However, when served with a splash of water or one small ice cube: The aroma is sweet and rich with smoked vanilla and bananas, very enjoyable! The taste is much the same, rich, creamy, and smoky vanilla ice cream with banana; the finish is shorter, but still quite pleasant. I suggest serving with a few drops of cold pure water or a small ice cube; it helps if you enjoy sweet-smoky flavors. It rates a 3 neat and a 4 with the aforementioned water or ice, with an overall 3.5 considering the price point (around $33).

It's decent. I prefer the triple mash version, but I wouldn't refuse this. It has a hint of JD's banana flavor and some oak. I'd pick the Triple Mash over this, but I have no complaints.

Tastes very similar to Jack Daniel's. Fans might find it's a new go-to, but single malt scotch drinkers likely won't enjoy it, much like other whiskeys.
