Sweet aroma, with a touch of maple. The flavors are intense, starting with a bold hit of caramel and maple before a strong burn. The latter half and finish are dominated by oak, as if you were just licking wood. The taste profile is great, but it's much too thin for its intensity. It definitely needs more richness. It's better than their standard offering, but it's missing a bit of something.
