Ironworks Bluenose Rum is a dark rum made with molasses acquired from Guatemala by Crosby's Molasses Co. in New Brunswick. The rum matures for at least one year in barrels that previously held bourbon. It is bottled at 42% ABV.

Full-bodied and smooth. Molasses, burnt sugar, some caramel. A warming alcohol sensation at the end. Just a tad harsh.
