A potent Rye Whiskey from the founders of Albany Distilling Company. Its creation involves at least 51% Rye, fermentation, distillation, and aging in freshly charred American oak casks. It presents an aromatic beginning with citrus, subtle clove, and raisin; its full-bodied existence brings forth dark fruits, butterscotch, rye, wheat, nutmeg, and cinnamon; concluding with a well-rounded, moderately long finish featuring notes of oak, smoke, and earth. The typical dill aroma found in ryes. The taste features many herbs like clove and raisins. A sweet finish.
This is absolutely undrinkable. It’s the poorest rye I’ve encountered. Tastes like lawn clippings.
Nose: Tea Palate: Somewhat sweet Finish: Brief, minor burn
