Iron Fish Barrel Strength Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Sherry Casks

Single Barrel Barrel # 1179 Proof 116.4 It has aromas of orange, cherry, and berry. Some mint is present. Those fruit flavors appear in the taste, but are more tart initially. I detected some apple before a sweeter cherry emerged in the finish, which concludes on a dry note. It's a bit strong, but not excessively so.

Very sweet and enjoyable. The sherry aging gives it a fantastic mouthfeel, rich and buttery.

Great dynamic flavor, but it's potent with a lot of burn.

Notes of cranberry and cherry. Quite delightful.
