This distillery had a fluctuating history over its 100 years, with multiple openings and closings, ultimately ceasing operations for good in 1998 before being demolished in 2013. This Gordon & MacPhail release comes from casks filled in 1997. The dram itself is intriguing. I sampled it at Dramfest '18. The dominant flavor profile I perceived was 'rubbery'.
