About this bottle

Hudson Whiskey New York Straight Bourbon is pot-distilled using a mash bill composed of 95% corn and 5% malted barley. Significantly, the grains were sourced from local farmers in the Hudson Valley, and the bourbon holds Kosher certification. It ages for a minimum of 5 years in American oak barrels and is bottled at 46% ABV. This limited release marks the second age-stated whiskey from Hudson Whiskey. It became available in the U.S. in June 2023 with a suggested retail price of $49.99.

A prominent wood influence on the nose, with the oak providing an aroma of freshly cut wood and medium char. On the palate, it's restrained, aligning well with a traditional Straight Bourbon. It has light baking spices, subtle sweetness, medium cask char, and a heavier mouthfeel. This drinks almost like a barrel-proof expression and can easily accommodate a good amount of water or ice. A strong addition to their lineup.
