Tuhilltown Spirits Hudson Baby Bourbon Whiskey Single Barrel Select, 2019 Release, from Tuhilltown Distillery in New York, is a delicate bourbon whiskey. It's crafted with a whole grain mash bill and aged for up to two years in American oak baby casks, with a limited release of only 144 bottles at 46% ABV. It begins delicately with notes of caramel, oak, and spice. Its smooth and rich journey adds notes of grain and corn, culminating in a long, warming finish with hints of fresh ginger, leather, and fresh flowers. Bottled in August 2022, with samples taken in May 2019.

Acquired a store-selected single barrel bottle yesterday. I find this offering superior to the standard Baby Bourbon. The initial aroma is predominantly CORN, evolving into sweet, salty caramel and oaky undertones. On the palate, it's thin, but all the previously mentioned flavors are noticeable. The finish is somewhat brief and dry... An easily sipped spirit, neat.

Nose: potent apple, caramel, and wintergreen. Toffee and vanilla notes detected. Taste: strong burnt hay and wintergreen with tobacco. A robust woody and fruity finish of apples and peaches coated in caramel.

Alphonso Fitzgerald 3.5

I'd rate this closer to a 3.6. The nose has molasses. The palate is light, with butterscotch and not much spice.

Trista Bliss 1.5

What just occurred in my mouth. A very peculiar flavor, not to my liking.

Jamison Bishop 3.5

An easy sipper with a slightly unusual aftertaste.
