Nutmeg and a sweet wheat and corn note greet the nose, followed by a pleasing buttery sensation of toasted grain and sweet corn, finishing heavily with oak but no burn for a 117 proof spirit.
I understand the reference to Dickel from a previous commenter. The aroma has notes of butterscotch, followed by apples and spice on the palate, with a lingering, warm finish. It's quite tasty.
This was enjoyable and distinct. Very pronounced green apple flavors with cinnamon and allspice. Sipped well considering the proof.
Tastes just like a Payday or a Twix bar, with sweet caramel.
Pleasant and flavorful. Strong aftertaste. A warming finish.
I'm quite confident this is Dickel. It tastes great!
