House of Hazelwood 18 Year

Nose: Very subtle, with prominent walnuts and grains, but also cooked pears. Palate: Very oily and coats the tongue, but beyond its texture, it's quite bland and lacks character. Toffee, nuts, cream, and not much else. Finish: Brief but well-rounded. It's not unpleasant, but it's akin to consuming a lightly alcoholic void. It might suit those who aren't enthusiasts, as it's very easy to drink, but dedicated whisky lovers might not find its qualities particularly appealing. Rating 3.00

A light, grassy, floral aroma with a hint of cardamom. It has a buttery mouthfeel and finishes with a subtle orange chocolate flavor.

A solid, familiar choice. Fruity, vanilla notes and approachable, but not particularly memorable for me.

Aroma of apple... Finishes with a smoky flavor. Quite mellow, however.

Very smooth, with a pleasant sweet vanilla aroma and a slight bitter hint.

Appears younger than an 18-year-old.
