Meijer Steward Select 5 yo, 116 proof. Mashbill: 99% corn, 1% barley. I managed to purchase this during a 50% off clearance sale. Color: Light amber. Nose: Sweet. Palate: It does not taste hot for its age and proof. Sweet and lacking complexity. The 99% corn mashbill is evident in the flavor. Some initial heat on the front of the palate after the sweetness subsides. Finish: Some spice on the back end. Medium finish with a noticeable warmth.
