I'm uncertain about these components; while not unpleasant, their presence in a rye made me question my senses that day. The palate was intense and heated, beginning with a sour taste that transitioned into salted caramel and honey. The final sensation on the palate was a dryness similar to white grape skins. The finish was long, with lingering heat, and returned to a sour taste after leaving the palate. Overall, I found it quite good, though it was a strong yet confusing dram. The scotch-like characteristics were unexpected. I'll need to revisit this one soon.
