The alcohol content is too high for my preference, leading to the low score. It simply overwhelms the flavors for me. It definitely possesses a floral taste. I find it difficult to identify anything else. The aroma is similar but slightly sweeter and more agreeable. Adding a few generous drops of water brought out a caramel aroma and also reduced the intensity, making it somewhat easier to sip. Considering the cost of this rum, using it as a mixer would be wasteful, and that's its only potential use for me. In fact, it's not even that good as a mixer for me. Rating based on 2oz neat sipping and 3 solid drops of water.
