The aroma offers fresh berries and vanilla. Sweet berries start the taste, with a subtle hint of vanilla. This then transitions to some charred oak notes in the middle. The conclusion is lengthy and pleasing. It's nicely balanced and very smooth.
Has a somewhat musty character. Notes of wood and grain, with floral aspects, but followed by a bitter tannin finish lacking balance. It's still enjoyable, yet requires further refinement.
