Nose: Sweet oak, vanilla. Palate: Brown sugar, oak, vanilla. Finish: Brief, drying. While I don't typically prefer rum-finished whiskies, this one offers plenty of sweet and creamy notes that I enjoy. It's somewhat one-dimensional in that regard, but I appreciate what this distillery is offering here.
