Okay. First, acknowledge this is not pure whiskey; if that's your sole preference, set it down and leave. This is for the home mixologist who struggles with crafting good drinks but still desires a bar-quality experience at home. The flavor is pleasant but unremarkable. A hint of pepper from the Rye emerges, but the bitters are nearly overpowering, leaving the vermouth almost entirely absent. While I admire the idea behind this bottle, I strongly suggest consulting a cocktail guide and experimenting to achieve true home cocktail satisfaction!

Camden Carl 4.3

I had anticipated a spicy rye balanced by subtle bitters and overly sweet vermouth. I was pleasantly surprised by how well-integrated it is. Served neat, one can detect smokiness and a mild spice, likely from a combination of the Campfire and Rendezvous whiskies. There's a touch of sweetness from Vermont and bitters. It mellows quickly when served on ice. I suggest shaking it with ice, then straining it into a glass to preserve the flavors.

You can definitely taste the cherry. Very smooth with a pleasant oak flavor.

Shelley Ceballos 3.5

A robust and deeply satisfying Manhattan. Noticeably peppery.

Could not finish my drink; it was that bad.
