This is my first time trying this brand. I've heard positive things. Overall, this whiskey tastes quite young. The nose offers corn aromas with light oak. The youth is most apparent in the taste. Corn is the dominant flavor, accompanied by some caramel and oak. It lacks complexity and richness. The finish is long and warming. I'm unsure if it was worth the $65 price tag, but I'm glad I sampled it.

The nose is intensely alcoholic, with sweet vanilla behind it and a subtle fruity scent further back. Taste is masked by that high proof, but if you enjoy that and can get past it, the fruity profile is more prominent than the vanilla, but for me, it's really difficult to get past the initial intensity. Wouldn't drink it straight.
A distinct aroma, reminiscent of a non-peaty scotch. Malty with some grassy undertones The initial taste reveals a pleasant, thick, full body that isn't oily. Subsequent sips bring notes of chocolate/coffee with walnut oatmeal, subtle hints of dried orange, which are slightly bitter in a pleasing way
