The aroma has notes of vanilla and oak, which carry through to the palate. You can also taste some leather and dark fruits. It doesn't dry out the mouth; instead, it coats the palate nicely. I suspect it's sourced from Jim Beam, reminding me of some 13-15 year Knob Creek Single Barrel store selections I've had. An enjoyable drink!

Sharp, floral licorice, with a lasting vanilla oak finish. Potent and delicious, but perhaps a bit too simple.
Received as a 50th birthday present, this is exceptional. Very smooth. Sweet initially, with a pleasant touch of spice at the conclusion.
