Light notes of caramel and vanilla. It's pleasantly smooth and generally good, but lacks depth. A good choice for daily sipping.

About this bottle
Revival is the designated name for Bob Dylan and Heaven's Door's Tennessee Straight Bourbon, which matures for at least five years in new American oak barrels. These barrels are stored in single-story warehouses, and the bourbon is bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration to preserve its flavor. The brand's core collection is also undergoing a visual update with new labels showcasing Dylan's metalwork. Announced in July 2023, Revival began appearing on shelves nationwide in the subsequent weeks. (SRP $54.99)

Despite being 92 proof, it wasn't as smooth as I'd hoped. There's a touch of vanilla, but that's the extent of it. It's acceptable, but far from outstanding.
Neat: Smells like nail polish remover, harsh alcohol vapor. How could this be offered. Awful.
It seems underdeveloped. Lacks barrel influence. Similar to Crown Royal.
Standard Bourbon. A solid choice for everyday drinking, not overly strong.
Straight up. Warming. Intense and oak-forward.
