The aroma is like an arc welder, which I can't get past. On the palate, there's an unpleasant, dominant metallic heat, with some fruity notes attempting to emerge from the background. You also experience the full intensity of the 120+ proof. The finish is hot and lengthy, with some genuinely pleasant rum-like notes appearing near the end. Water slightly improved it, but the hot metallic notes remain. Bottle finished 10/30/22. Still has a funky, hot character; the fruity notes are more noticeable, and the metallic taste is nearly gone, very faint.
