Fruity, maybe burnt sugar? Toffee on the nose. A slight turpentine (oil painting) scent. A hint of tar. Somewhat muted on the nose. Pepper on the palate and finish. Floral, perfumed notes on the nose. Way off in the after notes on the palate there's a note of flower/grassiness.

It's floral with a clear oaky character, and has an oily feel in the mouth and on the palate. Personally, I prefer the Grönstedts VS because of its fruitier profile.
Notes of vanilla in the aroma but almost no taste on the palate. The flavor then develops somewhat and is perceived as fruity but also more spirit-forward than other cognacs I have tried.
To me, this tastes like cognac. Nothing more, nothing less.
