Wow!!! Gray Wolf Spirits has excelled. I am a dedicated supporter of craft and micro-distilling, and I've rarely encountered such a masterful example of the art of distilling. This husband and wife team, formerly bartenders, located in St. Michaels, Maryland, have truly set themselves apart. The sassafras-aged gin, made from a malted barley base, is exquisite. Definitely try it if you come across anything from Gray Wolf.

The aroma is subtle, but sassafras is prominent on the initial taste. Strong sassafras and juniper flavors. An excellent gin. I'm eager to make martinis with it.
