A rich aroma, with nutty notes like almonds or peanuts. Some barley and wheat are present. The flavor is dry and bitter, not truly medicinal but with a woody bitterness and an alcoholic sharpness from the BiB addition. The finish eventually reveals some dark chocolate and a touch of wheat spice. It's quite pleasant. It could use more richness, similar to their port cask expression, but it's still enjoyable.
