The nose offers a beautifully sweet aroma. Port is noticeable, but blackberry is the primary scent. It's both tart and sweet. The flavor is good, though not as compelling as the aroma. It features tart and sour notes, with blackberry still present, but insufficient sweetness for balance or body to support it. It's unique and a strong start; with further refinement, it could be excellent.
